Susan Longo, D.V.M.

Veterinarian & Co-Owner

Dr. Susan Longo graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. In May 1993, she purchased the Annapolis Cat Hospital and opened Bay Ridge Animal Hospital a year later. Her professional areas of interest include feline medicine, and skin and ear disease. She currently lives in Edgewater with her husband and two children and has two Brittany Spaniels and three cats. In her spare time, Dr. Longo enjoys reading, baking, gardening, and home improvement.

Elizabeth Wozniak, D.V.M.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Elizabeth Wozniak has two Bachelors degrees from the State Univeristy of New York at Binghamton and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. She joined the Annapolis-Bay Ridge team in October of 1999 and has a special interest in feline medicine. Dr. Wozniak enjoys knitting, reading, photography, and gardening in her spare time. She shares her home with her many animal companions that include her loving dog Addie and her cats Junior, Frankie, Maurice, Howard, Bindi, Louie, and Hoover.

Elise Powell, D.V.M.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Elise Powell graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her medical style focuses on a holistic approach to preventative care and she will be certified in acupuncture in the fall of 2018. In her spare time, Dr. Elise can be found being active in the outdoors. She loves cycling, running, hiking, traveling, and spending time on the water. She shares her home with her husband and two daughters. She has a German Shepherd named Bisous, and a black Labrador named Kossar.

Patricia Pleinis, D.V.M.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Patricia Pleinis has worked in the veterinary field for over 30 years and brings her experience, passion, and outgoing personality to Annapolis Cat Hospital as a relief veterinarian. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and has professional interests in dermatology and radiology. Originally from Bowie, MD, Dr. Pleinis resides in Knoxville, TN with her husband and three children. She also shares a home with her three dogs and cat. She enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time on their pontoon boat in her spare time.
